Rovio launches fantasy role playing game - Angry Birds Epic
Rovio Mobile has introduced a new fantasy role playing game set in the Angry Birds universe dubbed as Angry Birds Epic for Android, iOS and Windows Phone platforms.
Rovio Mobiles has launched yet another Angry Birds theme game albeit with a different genre. The new Angry Birds Epic is a free Role-Playing Game where the player can choose sides to join the birds team or the bad piggies. Each member of both teams get a turn to attack. This game come with a freemium model - that means free to download and play but some upgrades would require in-app purchases.
Angry Birds Epic consists of great battle taking place between the team of angry birds verses the team of bad piggies. However, the gameplay is very different than the usual bird-slinging one. Members of each team get to attack their opponent using any weapon or an object they can lay hands on. Just like the popular massive multiplayer online role playing games, the Angry Birds Epic aims to deliver the same elements but with familiar characters.
As the game progresses, the players get to explore the mythical Piggy Island with several upgrades for the weapons, armor and even characters. Certain things to be noted about this game are the social network support and in-app game purchases. While later remain the medium to earn for the developers, the parents need to keep a check on the purchases made by the kids.
Angry Birds series pans out to a new genre of gaming with same set of characters with new clothing, armor, weapons and game play style. Angry Birds Epic is now available for the AppleiOS, Google Android and Microsoft Windows Phone mobile platforms.
